Meals and Accommodations
KOICA or the training institute will arrange or provide meals free.

Regarding accommodations, participants will stay at ICTC, if the course is held in Seoul or near ICTC. In case the course is implemented far from Seoul or in a province, they will stay at a hotel or dormitory.

Medical Care

Participants are covered by Overseas Travel Accident Insurance as provided by a KOICA-designated insuance company from the time participants leave their country to their return to it. It will cover expenses related to illness or injury during the policy period.

Expenses for the following, however, wil not be covered by the Overseas Travel Accident Insurance:

 medical treatment for a pre-existing illness
 any medical treaments related to or resulting from pregnancy and/or childbirth
 expenses for dental bridgework, cosmetic surgery
 brain disease, mental illness
 immunization, or routine medical examinations and vaccinations
 medical treatment for illness or injury caused by willful misconduct

Regulations

It is important that participants understand and follow the regulations set by KOICA. These are as follows:

Participants are required...

 to carry out such instructions and abide by such conditions as may be stipulated by the Korean government in respect to the training program,
 to follow the training program to the best of their ability and abide by rules of the university, college, or institution in which participants undertake training,
 to refrain from engaging in political activities, or any form of employment for profit or gain
 to return to their home country upon completion of the training program and resume work in their country
 not to extend the length of the training program or their stay for personal convenience
 not to bring any family members(dependent) to Korea

If a participant fails to observe the above-mentioned regulations or performs poorly during the course, his/her status as a KOICA participant may be terminated.

Note : Regular attendance at your training program and the submission of required reports are two conditions vital to the success of your training.
