| Arrival
in Korea |
This
section gives participants practical
information to help them proceed
to the International Cooperation
Training Center (ICTC) of KOICA.
The following step-by-step instructions
are designed to help participants
reach the ICTC easily. Participants
are advised to read the following
instructions carefully.
Arrival
at Incheon International Airport
upon arrival, participants are
to follow these arrival procedures
:
Pass
through Immigration
Note: KOICA will inform the
immigration office of participants’names
& nationalities, flight
schedules, and training courses
prior to their arrival. Participants
are advised to carry the invitation
letter on which their status
is written.
Collect
baggage and Pass through Customs
Inspection
Note: If your baggage is lost
or damaged during travel, notify
the airline agent in the baggage
claim area and ask to file a
claim for lost baggage or damaged
baggage. Lost baggage usually
arrives on the next flight if
you have transferred planes.
Most claims and reports take
from a few days to several weeks
to process.
Pass through Exit Gate A and
go to the KOICA airport counter(1st
floor, next to the Tourist Information
Desk, left wing of the arrival
lounge/ T.032-743-5904/ H.P.
011-9731-3141). At the KOICA
counter, you'll get an information
about how to get to ICTC and
an airport limousine bus ticket
for Korea City Air Terminal
(KCAT).
※If you cannot
meet the KOICA guide at the
counter, please purchase a limousine
bus ticket from the bus ticket
counter (located on the 1st
floor), and go to KCAT. You
will find another KOICA guide
at KCAT who will help you reach
the ICTC. KOICA will reimburse
the limousine bus fare when
you arrive at ICTC.
Take an City Air Limousine
Bus at the bus stop No. 4 (Exit
Gate A) or No. 20 (Exit Gate
E) in front of IIA. The bus
runs every 5-10 minutes between
of 06:30 and 22:25. It will
take 80 minutes from Airport
to KCAT.

| How
to get to ICTC from Incheon International
Airport
Participants, by themselves,
should reach the Korea City
Air Terminal (KCAT), where a
KOICA guide will meet and lead
them to ICTC. If your friends
or persons from your Embassy
in Korea plan to guide you to
ICTC, you should notify this
to KOICA program officer in
advance.
From Korea
City Air Terminal(KCAT)
The Korea City Air Terminal
(KCAT) is conveniently located
in the extensive Korea World
Trade Center (KWTC) complex
in southern Seoul. KCAT provides
a check-in service and passport
inspection for passengers who
are flying Asiana Airlines,
Korean Air, and eleven foreign
airlines including Northwest,
Ansett, British Airways, and
Cathay Pacific.
Note: Although the bus runs
non-stop to KCAT, it does stop
once at Samsung subway station
next to KCAT. So, participants
should not get off at Samsung
subway station.
At the KCAT
Meet the KOICA guide at the
KOICA Information counter of
KCAT, located on the same floor(2nd
floor)that the Limousine bus
arrives and take a car arranged
by the KOICA guide to ICTC.

Cooperation Training Center
(ICTC) of KOICA. Participants
are advised to read the following
step-by-step instructions carefully
because most of the participants
are first-time visitors to Korea.
Upon arrival, participants
are to follow these arrival
procedures:

aboard your flight)
Quarantine including animals
and plants(2nd floor)
Immigration check(passport,
ticket, arrival statement)
Reclaim baggage(1st floor)

Pass
through Immigration :
KOICA will inform the immigration
office of participants names
and nationalities, flight schedules,
and training courses before
their arrival. Participants
are advised to carry the invitation
letter on which their status
is written, and show the letter
to the officer in charge in
case the officer needs further
identification.
Collect
Baggage and Pass through Customs
: If your baggage is
lost or damaged during travel,
notify the airline agent in
the baggage claim area and ask

Information Counter
Pass through the Customs and
go to the KOICA Information
Counter (near exit gate A, left
wing of the arrival lounge,
next to the Tourist Information
Desk/ T. 743-5904/ H.P. 011-9731-3141).
At the KOICA counter, you can
get an information about how
to get to ICTC in detail, and
get a limousine bus ticket for
Korea City Air Terminal (KCAT).
If you cannot meet the KOICA
guide at the counter, please
purchase a limousine bus ticket
from the bus ticket counter
(located on the 1st floor),
and go to KCAT Bus stop No.
4. You will find another KOICA
guide at KCAT who will help
you reach ICTC. KOICA will reimburse
the limousine bus fare when
you arrive at ICTC.

| IIA-KCAT
Leave the terminal and proceed
to Bus Stop No. 4 (Exit Gate
A) or No. 16 (Exit Gate E) to
take a City Air Limousine Bus
to Korea City Air Terminal (KCAT).
Buses depart every 5-10 minutes
between the hours of 05:30 and
22:25 from the airport. (It
will take about 70~90 minutes
from IIA to KCAT.)
KCAT-ICTC
Participants, by themselves,
should reach the Korea City
Air Terminal (KCAT), where a
KOICA guide will meet and lead
them to ICTC.
If your friends or persons
from your Embassy in Korea plan
to guide you to ICTC, you should
notify this in advance to the
KOICA program officer.
The Korea City Air Terminal
(KCAT) is conveniently located
in the extensive Korea World
Trade Center (KWTC) complex

At KCAT, please meet the KOICA
guide at the KOICA Information
Desk at KCAT, located on the

The bus can stop by the request
of passengers at Kimpo Airport
or Samsung Subway Station. So,
participants should not get
off at Kimpo Airport or at Samsung
Subway Station.
Take a car
arranged by the KOICA guide
to ICTC.

please show this to a Korean
